Hilton is out with their newest promotion, which is valid for stays from September 10, 2018 thru January 3, 2019. This offer will give you three times points for stays at luxury hotels and resorts and double points for all other Hilton stays.
Hilton’s claim that this is the “Best Offer of the Year” is factually true but for most stays, you’ll earn the same amount of bonus points as you have with every other promotion they’ve run this year.
The only thing added to this promotion is the triple points earned at Luxury & Resort stays. There are 243 of these properties ranging from Waldorf=Astoria and Conrad hotels to several Hilton, Doubletree and Embassy Suites properties. While many of these hotels are ultra expensive, you can find several hotels around Walt Disney World like the very nice Waldorf Astoria Bonnet Creek Resort.
Earning double points at all other Hilton hotels is still a good deal since you’ll normally earn 10 points per dollar. With double points, you’re getting 20x points per dollar spent (except at Home2Suite and Tru where you’ll earn 10x points instead of the usual 5x per dollar).
You can go to the Hilton website and sign up by clicking HERE. I always suggest signing up for promotions even if you’re not sure that you’ll use it. It only takes a few seconds, doesn’t cost anything and you don’t have to worry about forgetting to sign up later on.
If you like to read the full Terms and Conditions, here they are:
Offer valid for stays completed September 10, 2018, through January 3, 2019 (“Promotion Period”) at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio excluding Hampton by Hilton Hotels in Mainland China. Hilton Honors™ members must first register at HiltonHonors.com/MomentsMadeBigger prior to completing a stay within the Promotion Period. Registered Hilton Honors members will only receive Bonus Points for nights completed during the Promotion Period, regardless of a check-in date before the Promotion Period begins or a check-out date after the Promotion Period ends. Registered Hilton Honors members will earn double points per stay on all non-luxury and non-resort properties and will earn triple points per stay at any luxury or resort property during the promotion period. Waldorf Astoria® Hotels and Resorts and Conrad® Hotels and Resorts are considered luxury properties. See here for a full list of luxury and resort properties that qualify for the Triple Points promotion. Members can also book resort properties directly through Hilton.com. There is no limit to the total amount of Bonus Points that may be earned during the Promotion Period with this offer. However, there are restrictions on the amount of Base Points that can be earned on a single stay at certain brands.
This offer may be terminated without notice. Bonus Points do not count toward elite tier qualification. Please allow six to eight weeks from completion of your stay for Bonus Points to appear in your account. A ‘stay’ is defined as the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, whether or not a guest checks out and checks back in again. Offer is not valid for groups and cannot be combined with other select offers. In-Room Internet Access, Fitness Center/Health Club Access and Bottled Water benefits may not be complimentary at properties with a resort charge. Space-available upgrades only available at select brands. Elite status benefits are subject to availability and vary by brand. For more information, please visit HiltonHonors.com.
Hilton Honors™ membership, including the earning and redemption of Points, is subject to Hilton Honors Terms and Conditions. All Hampton by Hilton™ hotels in China are currently excluded from the Hilton Honors program.
