Grab Your Bathing Suit (Or Not!) – The Big Nude Boat Cruise Is Taking Reservations!

by SharonKurheg

Being nude is admittedly not for everyone. But for those who are into it, there are plenty of “clothes-free” travel activities (they’re sometimes called “nakations,” which, I have to admit, makes me giggle). There are nude beaches all over the world, as well as entire clothing-optional resorts.

Another popular activity for enthusiasts of not wearing clothes are nude cruises. There are several of them out there, but the granddaddy of them all, called The Big Nude Boat, is set to go on a 2-week cruise in February 2021 and they’re taking reservations right now.

The event is thanks to a tour group called Bare Necessities, which has been organizing bare-optional cruises since 1991.

This will be Bare Necessities’ 75th nude cruise and, for the first time for the group, it will be a full 2 weeks long. From their website: “On the last day of every cruise, what we hear most from our Bare Cruisers is that time really flew by and the answer has always been no… until now. You asked and we answered. For our 75th nude cruise, Bare Necessities has chartered a one-of-a-kind two-week cruise aboard the Carnival Legend!”

The Big Nude Boat cruise departs out of Tampa on February 14, 2021, and will make stops in Mahogany Bay (Roatan), Colon, Cartagena, Bonaire, Curacao, San Juan and Nassau. They’ll then spend 5 days at sea before returning to Tampa on February 28th.

The group charters the entire ship, so there’s no chance of non-group people encountering unexpected nudity (whether they would consider that to be a good thing or not is definitely a Your Mileage May Vary situation).
