Genius Hack For Wearing A Mask On A Plane

by SharonKurheg

One of the biggest complaints about wearing a mask (I mean, besides having to wear one – none of us like it but hey, it is what it is for now) is that it can really start to hurt behind your ears.

If you’re just on the street, wearing it on and off as you go in and out of buildings, it’s less of an issue. But if you’re on a plane for more than a couple of hours and have your mask on the whole time, it can admittedly become uncomfortable.

Leave it to an Instagrammer to come to the rescue.

Brussels-based travel expert Immanuel Debeer recently explained how to stop the masks from hurting your ears while wearing them.

Simply put, if you wear over-the-ear headphones, you can put the straps of the mask over the ears of the device, rather than behind your own ears.

That way the mask stays on, but the straps/elastic/etc. isn’t wedged against your ears.
