Good Try American Airlines, But That’s Not Pennsylvania

by joeheg

I recently was looking for flights to Pennsylvania with American Airlines. One of our best options was to book a flight through Philadelphia and connect to our destination. We ended up not taking the trip, but that didn’t keep American Airlines from trying to sell us a hotel with our flight.

Um, that’s not Pennsylvania.

Sure, Eastern PA has the Pocono Mountains, but hotels there are more known for their champagne glass shaped tubs than chalet resorts.

In fact, much of the area looks like this.

While it was a nice try by American Airlines, their promotions team could create a better image when selling a hotel room to someone visiting Anytown, USA than a mountain lodge.

However, if that hotel is in Pennsylvania, I’ll gladly book a trip with AA to stay there.
