Frontier Airlines, which was already promoting its GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly pass for $699, is now offering it with an even deeper price cut.
$499.
From Frontier:
GOWILD! ALL-YOU-CAN-FLY PASS BENEFITS:
- An unlimited number of flights
- Access to Frontier’s domestic and international destinations
- Travel that will keep your miles from expiring
- Get confirmed bookings the day before flight departure for domestic travel and starting 10 days before flight departure for international travel
The fine print:
GoWild! passholders are able to book an unlimited number of flights through September 30th. Of course, Not all Frontier flights are available to GoWild passholders, and the flights must be booked the day before departure for domestic flights and 10 days in advance for international flights. Blackout dates, which are listed on Frontier’s website along with the full terms and conditions, also apply.
More fine print:
GoWild! pass fares don’t include seat selection, carry-on or checked bags or other extras; passholders have to purchase those separately. You also can’t earn miles on tickets bought with the pass. Finally, heads up that annual pass membership automatically renews.
GoWild! passholders who want an early start on their unlimited flights might be happy to know that Frontier has an extra promotion right now – it waives the advanced booking window for flights booked through May 16 departing through June 8.
“At Frontier, we are committed to making travel affordable and there is no better value in the industry for leisure travel than the GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly Pass,” Frontier’s commercial senior vice president Daniel Shurz said in a statement. “Since we launched the pass three weeks ago, many GoWild! pass holders have already taken multiple trips for reasons ranging from visits with family and friends, to spontaneous day trips, to exploring new destinations throughout the U.S. and beyond.”
The discounted price for the pass, which usually goes for $999, is valid until May 31 or while supplies last.
Frontier’s website says the summer pass is typically $999/yr (or get an annual pass for $1,999), which means this $499 special is juuuuuust slightly more than 50% off.
However if you click on “Get Your Pass,” the next page confirms the current price of $499.
Joe and I are not fans of Frontier – I think I’ve flown on them twice, and it was only when I didn’t “have” to be at the place I was going (one was that time when I surprised Joe by showing up at his hotel when he was on a business trip). But for those who don’t mind the small print involved with the GoWild! pass, who wants to (maybe, hopefully) fly to several places over the summer on the cheap, it could save you some money.
