Norse Atlantic Flash Sale: Europe Flights Starting At $129

by joeheg

Norse Atlantic is in the midst of a flash sale. The sale includes both economy and premium class fares and tickets need to be purchased before 06:00 Central European Time on October 17, 2023. Not all routes are included and the discount fares may sell out before the end of the promotion. Dates vary based on the route but most of the sales are good for travel until between March 10-15, 2024. Full details can be found on the Norse website.

This sale caught my eye because I was already considering flying back to Orlando from London on Norse for a trip in early 2024. Norse Atlantic operates a fleet of 787 Dreamliners which previously belonged to Norwegian. The premium cabin has 56 seats configured in a 2-3-2 layout.

Probably one of the best things about our Premium Class is the seats. We’re confident to say it is one of the best Premium seats in sky. With a wider seat, 43-inch pitch offering you lots of room to stretch out and a generous recline, allowing you to rest, sleep and arrive at your destination refreshed

London-Orlando is one of the routes included in the sale and a seat in Premium Class starts at $453 for a “light” ticket. These prices are approximately $150 lower than the normal price for this flight.

Premium Classic, which includes 1 checked bag up to 50 lbs is an extra $90. Premium Flextra adds another checked bag, and seat selection and has no change fees for an additional $180.

I don’t think I’d be able to do a weeklong trip to London in the winter with just a carry-on and personal item so I’d have to pay for a checked bag. Norse has a “light” checked bag that can be up to 33 lbs which costs $60 if paid at booking or $80 after booking. That’s $30 less than paying for the Classic fare.

Seat selection starts at $35 for a middle seat and up to $100 for the first-row bulkhead.

If you’re extremely price-conscious, Economy Light fares start at $223. However, the only thing this includes is a seat on the plane and 1 personal item. Carry-on bags, checked bags, meals and seat assignments all require an additional charge. Economy Extra is $90 extra but you’ll get a carry-on and checked bag and 1 meal.

Final Thought

These are great prices for flights to/from Europe from the US and Norse has a young fleet of 787 Dreamliners. There are no non-stop award options in business class from London and every award ticket includes at least $300 in fees thanks to the UK Air Passenger DutyFor around $600 I can book a non-stop flight home on Norse in Premium Class.

If you have upcoming flights to one of Norse Atlantic’s destinations, now’s the time to check prices and compare them to your other options.
