Hilton Honors consistently provides bonus point offers for hotel stays through their loyalty program. They regularly introduce new promotions a few weeks before the current one ends and have been doing so continuously with only occasional breaks. Unlike other loyalty programs, Hilton’s promotional offers are consistent, with only slight variations between each one.
The current Double Points promotion runs through September 2nd. Not to worry, as the Power Up promotion starts on September 3rd.
Power Up Promotion
The Power Up Promotion is simple to understand. All eligible stays between September 3rd and December 31st will earn 2,500 bonus Hilton Honors points. To participate, Hilton Honors members must register for the promotion before check-out at HiltonHonors.com/PowerUp. As with other Hilton promotions, you must complete your stay by the end of the promotion period to earn bonus points. Stays that begin before the promotion will receive credit for their stay if it is completed on or after September 3, 2024, and before or on December 31, 2024.
Hilton points out that a stay is defined as the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, whether or not a guest checks out and checks back in again.
Hilton Promotions
When Hilton runs promotions, they usually offer either extra points for each stay or double points. Personally, I like the double points promotion better. With the extra points offer, you get a set amount of points no matter how long you stay, which is great if you stay for short periods at different hotels. However, if you stay in one place for a while, the double points offer is more valuable.
