World of Hyatt has launched its first promotion of 2025. Called “Bonus Journeys,” this offer allows members to earn double and triple points on stays between January 27 and March 28, 2025. To participate, members must register for the promotion by March 10, 2025. While this is a relatively straightforward bonus points offer, it’s two distinct offers with different bonuses and earning caps depending on which brands you visit.
Promotion Details:
- Double Points: Earn double points (an additional 5 points per eligible dollar spent) on stays at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, as well as participating Mr & Mrs Smith hotels and The Venetian Resort. This offer excludes stays at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels (which have their own offer). Members can earn up to 20,000 bonus points through this offer, which equates to $4,000 in spending.
- Triple Points: Earn triple points (an additional 10 points per eligible dollar spent) on stays at participating Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels. Members can earn up to 10,000 bonus points through this offer, which equates to $1,000 in spending.

- Members must register for the promotion by March 10, 2025.
- Only eligible stays completed after registration and during the promotion period will count toward earning bonus points.
- Stays have to be booked directly through Hyatt.
- An eligible stay is defined as any stay where a member pays an eligible rate or redeems a free night award for at least one night.
- Bonus points earned through this promotion do not count toward elite status qualification.
- For award stays, the points you earn are based on incidental charges.
I’m not usually thrilled with Hyatt promotions because they’re typically targeted at specific regions or newer properties. However, this one is good everywhere and allows World of Hyatt members to boost their points balance. A reminder that Hyatt points are valuable, with moderate hotels available for 8,000 points and top-tiers costing 30,000 to 40,000 points.
This bonus could be lucrative, especially for those planning to stay at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties. However, given the bonus point caps, members may reach the limit quickly, particularly at higher-end properties.
