If you know you’re going to have a layover, you can try to plan for it. Either you can make it so there’s as little time as possible between one flight and the connecting flight. Or you can give yourself some extra time and visit the city for something special, like when we did this when we had a stopover in Dublin. Or you plan to take advantage of the short-term activities the airports have for travelers.
Sometimes though, you can’t plan…a plan is delayed and you miss your flight. Or you’re somewhere small where there’s nothing for tourists to do. Maybe you’re even stuck at the airport overnight (if you are, this might be a good reference).
In that kind of situation, most people might go exploring around the airport for a while, but then will settle down a watch a movie on their phone or tablet, or maybe read a book. But creative people? They take it one step further. Like these folks did…
I’ll admit that I have something of a creative flair here and there. But my creativity tends to come out in the written word. I could never think of the stuff those people did. It was a fun watch!
