Did You See This (No Spoilers!) “Avengers: Endgame” Prank In Boston Over The Weekend?

by SharonKurheg

A Boston newspaper reported about a prank that was played by a group of Massachusetts Institute of Technology students over the weekend and I think it’s brilliant!

According to The Boston Globe, a group of MIT pranksters calling themselves “hackers” transformed the school’s Great Dome into Captain America’s shield on Saturday night.

One of the students spoke to The Boston Globe about the joke, telling them that they had been planning it for months, and had dozens of people involved to help pull the prank off. It was their way to show gratitude towards the “Avengers” series since they were of the generation that grew up with the franchise.

The actor who plays Captain America, Chris Evans, even had something to say about it:

The shield was taken down Monday morning.
