Happy Sunday to all of our travel friends, both near and far! Here are some articles we’ve read from other bloggers (and other sources) that we think you may like, as well, so we’re passing them along.

• Ben (Lucky) at One Mile At A Time reports that JetBlue is changing their soft drink brand from Coke to Pepsi. Just for fun, and to get an idea of how people felt about that, I brought the topic up on our Facebook group and was a little surprised about some of the answers.
• Michael from Inside The Magic reports that The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland is turning 50 years old this summer and to celebrate, Disneyland is having a special event called “The Haunted Mansion: Celebrating 50 Years of Retirement Unliving.” Tickets go on sale May 24th.
• So many people are now bringing their dogs with them everywhere and don’t always take appropriate precautions. On top of that, some parents don’t necessarily watch over their kids like they should. Add airport lounge employees who don’t do what’s necessary during an emergency situation and you wind up with a story like this, as posted by Gary at View From The Wing.
• I’m not sure which is worse – losing your passport the night before you go overseas, or losing it when you’re on vacation. Fortunately, if you’re in the latter category and happen to be in Austria, they’ve just made it a whole lot easier to get assistance – just go to your local McDonald’s??? • The TWA Hotel opened with much fanfare a few days ago and although many reports show that it’s as lovely as everyone hoped, a few are posting the realities that it wasn’t really quite ready to be open, and that people are already using the space for unintended uses.
• A while back, I wrote about the one thing you didn’t want to see on your boarding pass. Unfortunately, it just happened to Mark on Miles To Memories, but fortunately for the rest of us, he wrote about the entire process, so at least we know what could happen.
• Walt Disney World is expanding by leaps and bounds. The parks are as crowded as ever, even though their prices are at their highest (perhaps too high?). Unfortunately, as Nate from Disney Dorks reports, so many people on top of so many ways to transfer them from place to place has some workers at WDW’s emergency services division more than a little concerned from a safety POV.
• And finally, Andy from Travel Codex reports that Alaska Airlines’ first shipment of Copper River Salmon was delivered a few days ago. This marks the beginning of the season for what some consider to be some of the best salmon anywhere.
