Trusted Traveler Program Enrollment Centers Temporarily Closed Due To Coronavirus

by SharonKurheg

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has temporarily suspended operations of their Trusted Traveler Program enrollment centers, effective March 19th, until at least May 1st, 2020.

The announced closure includes all public access Global Entry enrollment centers, NEXUS enrollment centers, SENTRI enrollment centers and FAST enrollment locations. The mobile enrollment events for Global Entry will also stop occurring at this time, also through at least May 1st.

If you’ve recently applied for any of these programs, have been conditionally approved and have scheduled an interview through May 1st, you’ll need to reschedule your interview for after that date.

CBP’s Enrollment on Arrival program will remain open at this time. Global Entry applicants who’ve been conditionally approved will be able to complete their enrollment process when they arrive on an international flight at any of the 60 airports that offer this program.

TSA Pre-Check, which does not include an interview, does not appear to be included in the closure/cancellation at this time.
