Hilton Luxury Brands Offering $150 Daily Credit

by joeheg

While luxury travel suffered a significant hit over the past two+ years, there’s undoubtedly a large amount of pent-up demand. Revenge travel, or whatever you call the current spike in leisure travel, is driving the market at the moment. While business travel hasn’t returned to pre-pandemic levels, the limited demand is being soaked up by vacationers headed to leisure hot spots.

The financial dynamic of the pandemic resulted in the wealthiest people getting richer, and now they’re looking to spend some of that cash on vacations. Sure, people could always travel if they had the time, cash, and willingness to risk catching COVID. But now that most countries have dropped travel restrictions, international travel is back.

To incentivize the disposable income class to come back to fancy hotels, Hilton is offering $150 daily credits for stays at many of their Waldorf Astoria,  LXR, and Conrad hotels and resorts worldwide.

Indulge in the unforgettable at Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, and Conrad Hotels & Resorts with a $150 on-property credit for each night you stay*. Unwind in our award-winning spas, order a well-earned breakfast in bed, sip on craft cocktails, and dine in our Michelin-starred restaurants – it’s your choice. With extraordinary locations around the globe, you can make your stay an inspiring one.

Even if you’re not looking to travel outside of the US, several domestic options are on the list. You can stay at either the Crockfords or Conrad at Resorts World in Las Vegas.

If you’re looking to go to Hawaii, you can stay at the Grand Wailea on Maui.

Even if you’re just looking for a trip to Disney World, you could stay at the beautiful Waldorf Astoria, one of the two luxury hotels in the area.

In total, 82 hotels and resorts are participating in the offer. Several hotels are located in China, which is troublesome if you don’t live in the country. However, other hotels in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe offer excellent value.

Could this stack with Amex FHR? And/or could this stack with Hilton Aspire? If this is an incidentals credit and Hilton Aspire is a straight $250 off it could work our relatively cheap for some hotels

I doubt if it would stack with FHR. The ToC state “When booking, please request the “LRM Exclusive Credit” Package or request Plan Code “PBEXC1.” For the Aspire credit, I’d suspect it would work if you’re staying at a property designated as a resort.

Misleading article. You should mention that if you use that rate, the hotel jacks up the price from their regular Hilton Honors rate. You are paying extra at the hotel for that rate. I would rather pocket the difference and find some local restaurant to spend that extra amount on rather than be stuck having to use it at the hotel.

While the rate is higher, it’s not always $150 higher. There’s a chance to save money if you were going to spend $150 daily at the resort.
