It’s sweepstakes time!

Y’all may not be aware but Joe and I started a Facebook group in February of this year.

Our goal of the group is to give our readers a chance to talk about their travels in a way that really can’t be done on a blog, as well as to have access to articles they may not see, and/or that we may not otherwise share. And so far it’s doing really well! So well, in fact, that in just about 3 months, we reached our first 1000 members (and have continued to grow since then, LOL!). So we’ve decided to celebrate by holding a sweepstakes!

The sweepstakes prize will be for a six-month upgrade to AwardWallet Plus for new and current users of the program. A one-year subscription is a $30 value! (sorry we can’t give out free trips or anything, but YMMV isn’t a profitable venture…yet). AwardWallet helps you track frequent flyer miles and hotel points, as well as book reward tickets.

It’s simple to enter – you just have to do these two things:

1. Request to join our Facebook group (if you’re already a member of our Facebook group, HOORAY and thank-you! Just go on to the next step below.)
2.  Once you have been admitted into the group (it usually happens late at night ET, so if you aren’t let in immediately, don’t worry!), click on our sweepstakes post and reply with something that lets us know you’re interested in winning (it can be typing “I want to win,” or “I’m interested,” or “here is my entry” or anything similar to those).

On Tuesday, July 17th we’ll pick a name at random from that thread, and (s)he will be the winner of a six-month upgrade to AwardWallet Plus!

Here’s the small print (which isn’t that small) with the official rules:

Entries/replies to said post must be received by 11:59pm ET of Monday, July 17 and the winner will be chosen and announced in our Facebook group on Tuesday, July 18. You are allowed one entry per person and the sweepstakes is open to people from any country, age 18+. Only entries in the form of replies (“Liking” the post is not an entry) in the specific Sweepstakes post will be counted. Sweepstakes is open to both new and current members of our Facebook group. Winner will be given a code to upgrade their current AwardWallet subscription. The basic AwardWallet membership is free and you don’t have to be a current member of AwardWallet to enter the sweepstakes, however you will need to get a basic (free) membership in order to upgrade to AwardWallet Plus, should you win. Requests for membership in our Facebook group are subject to our vetting and does not guarantee admittance. New and current members of our Facebook group are required to follow the rules and etiquette written in the pinned post of the group or face being removed from the group and their sweepstakes entry will then be invalid.
