Sign Up Now For Hilton’s Summer Promotion

by joeheg

Summertime is usually a slow time for hotel promotions. Leisure travel is up and there’s not as much need to fill hotel rooms as there is in the middle of January. However, bonus point promos from hotels are apparently going to be here year round, if Hilton is any indication. The current Hilton promotion, Points Unlimited, ends on May 5th.

Not wasting any time, Hilton is currently accepting sign-ups for their new promotion, “Go More, Get More,” which starts on May 6th and runs through September 8, 2019.

You can sign up for the promotion by clicking on this link.

While Hilton’s Points Unlimited promotion was willing to give bonus points to anyone staying in a Hilton who was an Honors member, the Go More, Get More promo is targeted to those who stay at Hilton hotels often. First of all, you will receive no bonus points at all for your first stay. Instead, you’ll receive 2x points starting with your second stay,  In addition to those points, you’ll earn extra points for each milestone reached:

  • 10,000 bonus points on your 10th stay
  • 15,000 bonus points on your 15th stay
  • 20,000 bonus points on your 20th stay

The bonuses are based on stays, not nights, so this promotion is targeting the loyalty of road warriors who are changing hotels every night or two.

Hilton members earn 10x base points on all hotel stays, so 2x points means you’re earning 20 points per dollar, starting with your second stay. Bonus points earned for status levels are not subject to the 2x multiplier.

While I’m not one to turn down bonus points, I can’t see this offer being lucrative to us because we tend not to travel much in the summer. However, if you’re on the road and like to stay at Hiltons, this might be a great deal for you.

Here are the Terms and Conditions of the offer:

Offer valid for stays completed May 6, 2019, through September 8, 2019 (“Promotion Period”) at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio. Hilton Honors™ members must first register at prior to completing a stay within the Promotion Period.
