This “Hotel” In Dallas Is Reopening. SWEET!

by SharonKurheg

Imagine a hotel where you can check-in for just $20. No, it’s not “that” kind of hotel (wink wink). But this Dallas-based “hotel” has been running strong since 2018 and is getting ready to reopen after a COVID-related slumber.

It’s called Sweet Tooth Hotel and it’s an Instagrammer’s dream come true.

OK, you got me. Sweet Tooth Hotel isn’t really a hotel at all. It’s a 5,000 square foot experiential art and retail venue in Dallas’ Victory Park. Created by husband and wife team, Cole and Jencey Keeton, it’s an immersive art venue that features rotating themed art installations, two featured artist galleries and a pop bar.

It’s like The Museum of Ice Cream but themed like a hotel.

The funny (but not really) part of Sweet Tooth Hotel is that its fourth installation is called “Intangible.” It was scheduled to open on April 18th and would feature works made of yarn and fabric, set up in such a way that you would want to touch it. That would normally be the “wink wink, nudge nudge” of the installation’s name because part of the appeal of these sorts of exhibits is that you normally can touch everything.

Welp, the installation is going to finally open on June 6th, and now? You really CAN’T touch anything in “Intangible.” Click here to see all the way they plan to keep the Sweet Tooth Hotel safe for its guests.

Sweet Tooth Hotel’s “Intangible” will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 12pm to 8pm, and Sundays from 12pm to 7pm (Monday will be “deep clean day,” although they can make themselves available for private rentals and photoshoots). Tickets for are on sale now. They’re $20 for Adults, $17 for Military/Student/Senior and $15 for children age 2 to 12. Or click here for info about Sweet Tooth Hotel.

SWEET!
