In January 2020, Chase added a DoorDash statement credit to the Sapphire Reserve card. In 2020 and 2021, cardholders receive a $60 yearly credit. Unlike the AMEX credits, you get the whole thing at once, not split up over the whole year.
We never used DoorDash or any other food delivery service that much before COVID-19. I forgot about the $60 credit in 2020 until I had a pizza delivered in March.
I used up the credit shortly thereafter, so it’s been over 6 months since I even thought about it.
If you’re like me, here’s a reminder that the $60 DoorDash credit reset on January 1st. I wasted no time and started to use the credit on the 3rd.
Sapphire Reserve cardholders can also get a one-year DashPass subscription.
If you’re not already a DoorDash member, you can save $10 off your first three orders if you have a referral link. Terms prohibit us from sharing the link on our website but if you join our Facebook Group and ask us there, we’ll provide the link there.
