A fresh round of Chase targeted spending offers has arrived for its credit card lineup! Chase has been steadily rolling out new offers as soon as the previous ones end, and this trend continues into 2025. While these offers used to vary more from quarter to quarter, they’ve become relatively predictable, focusing on popular categories like grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants.
While I’ve received offers for my Marriott, IHG, and Southwest cards, it’s been several years since I’ve seen any targeted offers for my Hyatt or Disney cards. Here’s what I received this time around:
IHG Rewards Premier Card
This offer lets us earn 5X IHG One Rewards points on purchases at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants, up to $1,000 in combined spending across those categories.
Since I value IHG points at around 0.5 cents each, this offer equates to a 2.5% return—not groundbreaking, but still worth noting if you’re working toward an IHG redemption.
Ritz-Carlton Card (My Wife’s Offer)
My wife’s Marriott offer is similar to the IHG deal, providing 5X Marriott Bonvoy points at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants, also capped at $1,000 in combined spending.
Given that Marriott Bonvoy points are worth about 0.7 cents each (based on Frequent Miler’s valuation, which matches my experience), this translates to a 3.5% return—a bit better than the IHG offer.
Southwest Priority Card
Finally, there’s my offer for the Southwest Priority card: 5X Southwest Rapid Rewards points on the first $1,000 spent at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants.
Since I value Southwest points at 1.3 cents each, this translates to a 6.5% return—the highest among the offers I received. While this is tempting, I’ll be sticking to my strategy of focusing spending on a select few cards to meet bonus thresholds this year.
Don’t Forget About the 10,000 Ultimate Rewards Offer
If you were targeted for the 10,000 Ultimate Rewards points offer when booking a hotel stay through Chase Travel, there’s still time to take advantage of it! You’ll need to book your hotel by January 31, 2025, but the good news is that your stay doesn’t need to happen until August 31, 2025.

How to Check for Offers
Chase typically sends email notifications about these targeted offers, but if you’re impatient (like me!), you can manually check your cards by visiting Chase My Bonus. Just enter your last name, the last 4 digits of your account number, and your zip code to see if you’ve been targeted.
Final Thoughts
While these offers aren’t game-changers, they’re a nice way to earn bonus points on everyday spending. Whether you’re on team IHG, Marriott, or Southwest, there’s something here for you—just be sure to plan your spending strategically, especially if you’re working on bigger goals like hitting a welcome bonus or elite status requirements.
